Whereas, the Wadena County Highway Department has agreed to accommodate private landowners along county highways who object to the use of herbicide control by the County in controlling roadside brush and noxious weeds. The Highway Department hereby requests those people objecting to roadside spraying to comply with the following procedure to avoid having county right-of-way sprayed adjacent to their land:
To be excluded from Noxious Weed Spraying, you must fill out the Wadena County Spraying Exemption Form by July 7, 2017.
Persons wanting to be excluded automatically assume the responsibility for brush control on all county right-of-ways affected by said sign posting.
If an excluded person fails to maintain brush control on county road right-of-way that is posted, the County retains the right to subsequently spray the right-of-way and bill the owner for these services.
